Dr. Maggie Micciche is a Kentucky native—she was born and raised in Lexington and loved animals from an early age. Her grandparents had a farm and lucky for us, she always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. She received her B.S. in Agriculture Biotechnology from the University of Kentucky. After receiving her veterinary degree from Purdue University, Dr. Micciche came back to Kentucky and started her career in veterinary medicine here in Louisville.
When she’s not taking care of patients here at the hospital, Dr. Micciche enjoys spending time with her husband, two dogs, and two cats. She is always game for a little friendly competition and really enjoys racquetball, sand volleyball, and board games. You might also find her catching up on her favorite TV series or at the movie theater scouting out award-winning movies!
