Dr. Lillian Frantz was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and grew up right across the Ohio river in Taylor Mill, Kentucky. She loved animals from a young age and knew she wanted to work with them. As a child she would tell people she wanted to be a “puppy doctor.” She attended the University of Kentucky for undergrad, where she majored in Animal Science. While at UK she loved working with sheep and was a part of research projects with dairy cows. Lillian graduated from Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Outside of work Lillian enjoys reading, hiking, sewing, and spending time with her family, friends, and one-eyed cat, Captain Jack. Lillian is excited to be a part of the East Louisville Animal Hospital team and to work with animals of all ages (not just puppies) and their owners!
